This is a model of a Colicoid done using Zbrush and Maya. I used the Zsphere tool to block out the basic shape, and then used sculpting tools to further refine it. I transferred a decimated version of it to Maya for retopology. For the retopology I used Quad Draw to remake the model and made the UVs for it. I made displacement maps for it by projecting the details to the newer model in Zbrush. I used the displacement maps with the ai standard surface shader for the beauty renders, and the ai wireframe for the wireframe renders.
